Soroptimist International Naracoorte is group of women who work together on local and international projects to improve the lives of women and girls worldwide and to create peaceful and sustainable communities.
SI South West Pacific (SISWP) is one of four Soroptimist Federations globally, and currently includes 13 countries in the Asia Pacific Region. These countries are: Australia, Cambodia, Fiji, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Islands and Thailand.
The word Soroptimist comes from two Latin words, "soror" meaning sister and "optima" meaning best.
